Mike is a director of Action Meetings and is an experienced trainer, facilitator and meetings expert.
He has worked with Action Meetings since early 2000, and is currently responsible for business development. Mike has been involved with the Action Meetings process since 1996. He has also been instrumental in research and development of the Action Meetings process bringing a number of improvements that have affected productivity, ease of use and adoption.
Mike has facilitated meetings and run the Meeting Design process with large and small organisations in the public and private sector.
Mike’s main experience is in the IT sector. Mike has worked in IT for 28 years, mostly as an independent consultant in a variety of industries in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. Mike applied a strong focus to software quality, methodology and process improvement. Mike’s articles on IT have been published both in New Zealand and the United States and he is a past president of Software Quality New Zealand. Mike is also an experienced consultant in the field of measurement and reporting and was a founder of Ergometrics Ltd, provider of a leading-edge software dashboard reporting tool.
Mike also writes regularly for the No Wombats blog focussing on meetings, usability and repetitve failure.
